Denman Island, where Peaks Island House is located, offers a lot of cool activities that you can do in order to fill your time while visiting our little vacation getaway. Truth be told, we could look for more places for cooperation, but so far our guests seem to be pretty happy with what we’re offering.
For starters there’s Paul’s Kayaking Adventures that can be found smack dab in the middle of the Lincoln City center. Paul has become a good friend of ours, and we are very happy to offer his services in Peaks Island House. You can find a pamphlet with his contact details once that you arrive at the house.
If getting wet isn’t your cup of tea, then you might want to checkout hiking as an alternative. Hiking will take you to the exact opposite of water, into hilly peaks and forests in and around the Denman Island. This is something that both me and Oscar love to do. Next to cozying up in a chair with a good book, it’s the second favorite thing of ours that we do.
Since it’s winter time, and you don’t exactly want to go kayaking or hiking right now. I mean you could, but what we’re recommending is for you to stay in, grab a cup of coffee or tea, snuggle up in a cozy chair and read a good book. It’s something that is far more fitting with winter weather.
These are not all the fun thing that you can do here at Peaks Island House and Denman Island. Part of the fun in visiting somewhere new is discovering all the cool things that the place has to offer. We leave that for you to do. Come visit us and find out why we love it so much here.
