Our large waterfront rooms are tastefully decorated with floral or seaside motifs and country inspired quilted bedding. Each room offers an expansive view of Casco Bay and the Portland Skyline. Rooms 1-4 have access to a covered shared open deck for dining or reading no matter the weather.

All rooms offer full private bath, cable television, and queen or twin beds. Complimentary High Speed Wireless Internet access is available. All rooms have private refrigerator, coffee maker, and hair dryer. A microwave and telephone are available for guests in the main inn. Rooms are not equipped with air conditioners. However, ceiling fans add to the ever present ocean breezes to ensure comfortable temperatures.

The Sunset cottage or Room 5 is a small private room located apart from the main inn with full bath and private deck for sunning or dining. It includes a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Room 5 is a favorite for romantic getaways.

Our rental home is a large 4-5 bedroom, 3 full bath home located approximately one mile from the inn near the TEIA tennis and boating club.  The home has direct beach frontage and an expansive yard.  The home is just 5 years old with modern appliances, full laundry, complementary wireless internet access, cable television, and an outdoor gas grill.  All linens and housewares are provided and daily maid service can be arranged.  2 of the bedrooms have air conditioning.  The home can accomodate a maximum of 10 guests.  A minimum of 5 nights stay is required to rent this home.  Pets may be considered with an additional security deposit.   

During the summertime, guests can enjoy beach combing at the inns private beach. Other activities include biking, hiking, kayaking and boating. In the off season, the quiet island offers many cross country ski trails. Portland, just a twenty minute ferry ride away, offers theater, The Portland Symphony Orchestra, museums, and tours of historic homes including Longfellow's house and the Victoria Mansion. The "Old Port" offers many fine dining opportunities, as well as wonderful shopping. The town of Freeport, home of L. L. Bean and numerous outlet shops is just a twenty minute drive from Portland.

Reservation Information

We suggest reservations be made as far in advance as possible. Refunds will be given only for cancellations occurring prior to fourteen days before your stay. Payment in full is required fourteen days prior to arrival. If payment is not received the reservation will be void. A reservation confirmation number will be available once your credit card information or check has been received. Although every effort will be made to honor specific room requests, your deposit will secure and guarantee rate and space requirements only. To reserve or hold all of our rooms for special events payment is required in full at the time the reservation is made. Please note our restaurant is open Memorial Day to Labor Day and weekends through October depending on weather. There are other fine restaurants open throughout the year. 

 

Check in is between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m.only. Special arrangements must be made for early check in or late arrivals. Please call or e-mail arrival information when making your reservation. If checking in after hours a note will be provided on the front door of the Inn. Staff may not be available to greet you upon check in.

 

Check out is 11:00 a.m., however, guests may make arrangements to leave luggage until later in the day. 
 
 

 

 

Room rates are based on minimum occupancy and range from $99.00 to $299.00 per room.

  • A two night minimum stay is required for Friday or Saturday night stays.
  • Children under the age of 12 stay free in parents room if using existing bedding.
  • A pack and play or twin size air mattress is available for a $10.00 rental fee.
  • Rooms 1-5 can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
  • 7% Maine state sales tax must be applied to all rates.
  • In season rates are May 1st through October 15th.
  • Taxes and gratuities are additional.
  • Payment is by cash, Traveler's check, Visa, Master card, Discover, or American Express.
  • Sorry, absolutely no pets are allowed in the inn. Pets may be considered with a security deposit in our weekly rental.
  • A $500.00 dollar security deposit is required for the rental unit.  This fee is refunded upon inspection of the house at checkout.
  • Individuals responsible for reservations must be at least 21 years of age.
  • All rooms are smokefree.
  • Rates are subject to change.
